PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING (BDAR)

These Personal Data Processing Principles (the “Principles”) provide information on how Olympa UAB processes personal data. These Principles apply to the relationship between UAB Olympa and Customers who use, have used, expressed their intention to use or have any other connection with the Services provided by UAB Olympa, including any relationship with Customers existing prior to the entry into force of these Principles.
Customermeans any individualwho uses, has used, has expressed an intention to, or is otherwise involved in, the services provided by UAB Olympa.
Personal Datameans any information directly or indirectly related to the Customer. Processing means any operation on Personal Data (including collection, recording, storing, modifying, granting access, requesting, transmitting, etc.)
UAB Olympa is a legal entity or an affiliate of a legal entity owned by UAB Olympa with its registered office at Liepų g. 87C in Klaipėda and acting as data controller.
- GENERAL PROVISIONS
2.1. These Principles contain general provisions on the processing of Personal Data by UAB Olympa. Additional information regarding the processing of Personal Data may be found in the Service Contracts or other documentation related to the Services, as well as on the websites of UAB Olympa.
2.2. UAB Olympa guarantees the confidentiality of Personal Data in accordance with applicable legal requirements and implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, disclosure, accidental loss, alteration or destruction or other unlawful processing.
2.3. Olympa UAB may employ data processors to process personal data. In such event, UAB Olympa shall take the necessary measures to ensure that such data processors process the Personal Data in accordance with the instructions and applicable law of UAB Olympa and require the implementation of appropriate personal data security measures.
- CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA
3.1. Name, contact details, etc.
3.2. Data required for the provision of services or goods: order data, billing information, payment related data, etc.
3.3. Image data captured by Olympa UAB video surveillance equipment when the Customer visits the territory and premises of Olympa UAB.
3.4. Other data that may be collected based on Customer’s consent and that are defined in detail at the time Customer’s consent is sought.
- PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Usually, UAB Olympa processes personal data for the following purposes:
4.1. administering the Customer Database for the purpose of providing and executing contracts with a publishing-printing company.
4.2. providing e-commerce services.
4.3. direct marketing, including sending out newsletters.
4.4. in debt management.
4.5. ensuring the security of Customers, employees and premises (video surveillance).
4.6. for other purposes related to internal administration.
- GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
5.1. UAB Olympa may collect Customer’s personal data only on the basis of lawful processing provided by law. This is the legal basis for the conclusion and performance of the contract when the Customer enters into a service or other contract with UAB Olympa when the Customer places an order with UAB Olympa.
5.2. The legitimate interests of UAB Olympa may serve as a basis for data processing where Olympa UAB sends newsletters and informs about services or goods, manages and / or collects debt.
5.3. Customer consent is the basis upon which Olympa UAB may process personal data.
5.4. Legal Obligations – The basis for UAB Olympa to process Customer’s personal data (to comply with regulatory requirements to respond to legitimate inquiries from the state or municipalities, etc.).
- STORAGE PERIOD
6.1. UAB Olympa processes the Customer’s personal data for no longer than is required by the purposes of the data processing or is required by law if it provides for longer data storage.
- RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
7.1. Data processors who perform certain services and services for UAB Olympa (information technology companies that process data to ensure the creation, development and maintenance of information systems, to send notifications to the Client, to provide security services, etc.).
7.2. Companies managing joint debtors’ files or managing debts.
7.3. Courts, law enforcement agencies or public authorities insofar as such provision is required by law.
7.4. Other persons with the Client’s consent, if such consent is obtained in a particular case.
- CLIENT AS DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
8.1.Apply to UAB Olympa for information on its personal data processed by UAB Olympa.
8.2. To contact UAB Olympa to correct the Customer’s personal data and / or to suspend the processing of such personal data, except for storage, in case the Customer, upon reading the personal data, determines that the data is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate.
8.3. Cotact Olympa UAB for the destruction of personal data or suspension of processing of such personal data, other than storage, in the event that the Customer becomes aware that the data is being processed unlawfully or unfairly, excess personal data or other legal grounds .
8.4. Not consent to the processing of Customer’s personal data when such data is or is intended to be processed for direct marketing purposes.
8.5. Receive your personal data in a systematic, commonly used and computer-readable format provided by Customer to UAB Olympa and transfer this data to another controller, or require UAB Olympa to transfer such data directly to another controller where technically possible (right to data portability) ).
